Announcements for May 17, 2012

A mandatory meeting for those students going out for football will be held this Friday morning at 7:45 in rm B205. If you want to participate in football, you MUST attend this meeting.

Attention Students: If you go uptown for lunch, please do not walk on the west side of Main Street between 150 and Padano’s. There is road construction being done there and they are asking pedestrians to avoid walking through that area.

Didn't get in in time for Ireland, Wales and England?  We are still accepting interested students and adult chaperones into Mr. Kieffer's Rome, Sicily and Greece tour for 2013.  See Mr. Kieffer or his website for details...Be a part of our next great adventure!  

Any students planning to play boys basketball next year should pick up an UPDATED summer schedule in the main office.  There have been a few changes.  There will also be an open gym next Monday night at 6:30.

Girls track gear is due Friday after school in the large gym.

Spring Sports Awards Night is Tuesday, May 22^nd at 7:30 pm in the Large Gym.

Attention students.  The FFA has been presented a great opportunity to serve our nation’s veterans and help with the Honor Flight program.  The Honor Flight sends World War 2 veterans from the Champaign-Urbana area to Washington D.C. to experience the World War 2 memorial and they need our help with set-up and clean-up at Willard Airport next Tuesday and Friday mornings.  This great opportunity is open to any SJO student and if you are interested in helping out, stop by and talk with Mr. Larsen.

Reminder to students: Today begins the final exam schedule. The order of classes today is 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 5^th, 4^th, 6^th, 7^th.
