Announcements for November 17, 2017
NHS would like to say 'Thank you SJO!’ Through your support, Community Blood Services was able to gather 42 pints of whole blood. That is enough to impact the lives of up to 126 individuals! If you missed your chance to donate or can't wait to do it again, we will be conducting another drive in April.
Reminder to students that need to complete required steps for dual credit classes for 2nd semester – you know who you are, you have been sent reminders! Do you need to re-test? Do you need to sign up for your math or English dual credit class via dual enroll? Make sure you do what you need to do to be eligible for 2nd semester!! See Mrs. Rein with questions.
The Talent Show is this Sunday, November 19th at 2:00 pm. Admission is free. Come out and see SJO's finest talent!
There will be informational meetings on Monday and Tuesday after school in the Band Room for anyone interested in being a part of the Spring Musical, Footloose. If you have any questions about it or can't attend the meetings, please see Mrs. Heltsley, Señora Nelson or Mr. Beccue.
It's American Education Week! Staff members, have you celebrated our students today? Students, have you told your teachers how much you appreciate them? Working together, SJO's students and staff have created something special, something to be proud of! Today, the SJO student council will be holding a special drawing. Two students from each grade, and two staff member’s names will be drawn at random. Each will be awarded gift cards as a small token of thanks. Lucky winners will be announced at the end of the day.
