Students, Staff, and possible extraterrestrials of SJO: Tonight, SJO becomes the most exciting place in the galaxy! Dreamland opens TONIGHT and runs Friday and Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Pre-sale tickets for tonight's show close at 3 pm so make sure to snag yours now! Come see over 60 students putting on a production that is truly OUT OF THIS WORLD! Tickets are available online or in the office and are $1 more at the door.
Happy Music in our Schools Month! It’s finish-the-lyric Friday, you know what to do! Our lyric today is “wake me up ____”. Give your answer to Mr. Waterson.
Any SJO HS student that is 16 years old or older that is interested in working on the summer cleaning crew at the Grade School District is invited to submit an application. Applications can be obtained from Mrs. Butler and the deadline to submit applications is 2 pm on Thursday, April 2nd.
Seniors – two new scholarships available:
1. Champaign County Crimestoppers for students pursuing criminal justice. The deadline is April 22
2. Blue Signal Scholarship, students must write an essay that exhibits helping others, doing the right thing, and being excellent. The deadline is May 1.
Applications are available in the guidance office.
Spring sports fees have been posted to Teacherease and can be paid now. They can be paid online through your Teacherease account or cash or check can be sent to the office. Please pay any other outstanding fees for your student ASAP and cover all negative lunch balances.
