Congratulations to the Scholastic Bowl team for advancing to the Final Four of the Parkland Challenge. The Spartans defeated Fisher and Cissna Park on Friday and look forward to the finals on Wednesday. Good luck!
The SJO Constitution Team finished 27th out of 48 teams at the We the People National Finals in Washington D.C. The Spartans were led by Unit 3--Kaleb Peoples, Claire Hartman and Sydney Steinbach. They finished the two-day competition in 14th place in the nation! Congratulations to the team on their efforts and thank you to the many supporters that helped us get there.
Reminder! Tomorrow is the last day to purchase prom tickets. Tickets are $30 and are available in the commons during 2nd lunch.
InterState studios will take softball pictures after school on Wednesday, April 29. Pictures can be ordered online through InterState using order code: 0457BHA.
Senior night for baseball is tomorrow. Announcements will begin at 4:30 pm.
Sign-up sheets are in the office for Volleyball, Dodgeball, and Bags teams at Post Prom. The rules are that all teams must be co-ed, 6 players on each team. There will be 8 volleyball teams and 10 dodgeball teams. If you play either dodgeball or volleyball, you cannot play bags. If you play bags, you cannot play dodgeball and volleyball.
There is an All-Committee FFA meeting on Wednesday, April 29th at 7 am in the Ag rooms. Donuts will be provided.
Parents – Post Prom is Saturday and we still have some time slots open. Sign up here to volunteer. We are taking donations and have included a spreadsheet listing our needs for prizes and supplies. The committee and students appreciate your support!
