Reminder that Homecoming Dance ticket sales are all this week during both lunch hours in the commons. Tickets are $10 each.
Tomorrow's activity is Powderpuff football on the main field! Players are asked to arrive by 6:45 pm with games beginning at 7. Concessions will be available and families and friends are welcome to watch - no entry fee. ALL PLAYERS MUST complete a liability form - these may be found in the main office. Attention juniors and seniors: a college representative from Millikin University will be here to speak to interested students today during Spartan Time. A rep from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale will be here on Wed, Sept 16th. Sign up in the guidance office if interested.

Attention SJO Students! Illinois Music Honor Society is holding a Teacher Look Alike Contest during next week's homecoming assembly! If you think you and an SJO teacher look alike, talk to them about submitting the form that was emailed to all teachers by Mr. Waterson. You and your teacher-twin will need a walk out song and a coordinated "fit." This form can only be submitted by the participating teacher on your behalf. The winning duo will both receive a Dairy Queen gift card!

Students: when using your school devices, we wanted to remind everyone about all proxy and gaming site usage. We have seen a significant increase in the use of proxies and gaming websites on school devices. Continued access to unapproved sites will not be tolerated. Further violations will result in stricter network filtering and disciplinary action.
Attention parents: Student Council is looking for parent volunteers to help run Spartalymics! If you would like to help us out, please click here to sign up! We need a total of 16 parents. Spartan Olympics will be on Sept 17th on the football field at 8 pm, you would need to arrive at 7:30 to help set up.
