Mr. Schacht’s Sociology class is organizing a Food Drive to benefit the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. There is a shortage of food everywhere and to help, the high school is participating in this food drive. Donate canned meats, beans, fruit, vegetables, complete meals, boxed meals, and peanut butter. This list will also be on the posters around the school. Cash donations are also accepted. Bring all donations to your Spartan Time. The Spartan Time that raises the most money will win a dessert party as well as the Spartan Time that raises the most food items on the list.
Congratulations to the football team on their win on Saturday! They play at home this Saturday, 11/22 at 1 pm against Unity. Advance electronic tickets are $10.40 and cash tickets are $11 at the gate. Admission prices are set by IHSA and electronic tickets must be purchased prior to game time. Good luck Spartans!
Seniors, you should have received an email last Friday to vote for Senior Superlatives for the yearbook. Please vote by 3 pm on Wednesday, November 19.
Semifinal football apparel orders are due by 9 pm tomorrow (11/18). Orders taken via attached Google doc. Orders must be paid for in advance. Pickup will be Friday from 4:30-6 pm in the commons. Contact Carrie Siems (siems13@comcast.net) or Mary Smith (bandmsmith2006@gmail.com) with questions.
There is an FFA Auction meeting on Wednesday morning at 7:15 am in the Ag Room. This is for all FFA members with auction contacts.
